This summer I made 2 trips to Texas... one with Chaz for Mary Kay Seminar and one as a family to introduce Chaz to our families and friends who hadn't met him yet...
These are pics from our first trip to Mimi's. Chaz and I stayed there a few days before Seminar started and really had a nice time! It is important to Dave and I to spend as much time with our fams as possible especially since Chaz arrived. I know you'll agree with me when I say that being separated by states from your family and friends is truly very hard, but we make the most of it...
Helene had a reception for Chaz to be introduced to her friends. These friends are very special b/c most of them have watched Dave and his siblings grow up... and now are seeing them all start their own families. They have been such a blessing to us. We love this extending family so much!

Chaz with his second cousin Jim... Jim had just had his tonsils out. His Doctor said they were the biggest ones he had seen in 35 years of practice! Whoa! They were like the size of prunes!

This is Chaz's Great Aunt Chris, Jim's mom. We were lucky to see her as she was in town from Clear Water Florida to help Jim after his surgery.

By the way, that is Natasha Hitchcock's (formerly Longueville)little girl. Not sure if you knew her at A&M. She is precious...only one week older than Luke.
I, too, wish we were closer! Chaz & Jack - those names just sound like they should be buddies! Maybe at A&M one day. :)
