These are just a few pics and there are more to come... of our trip to Texas!
Jill came to see us in Houston and met Chaz for the first time. They are buddies, no doubt!
(Please excuse my sleepy, no make up, face!)
Mom and Chaz!
I LOVE Once Upon a Child. It is a consignment store for everything baby! I found this really cool toy online for 30 bucks! I bought it at Once Upon a Child for just $5!
It is a little music cube that plays 6 or 7 songs. You can add to and take away certain instruments as the music plays. He LOVES IT!
Chaz has worked very hard on perfecting his raspberries. He has so much fun doing them, and once you get him started, he never stops!
Chaz has also learned how to grab...
hair... ouch
ears... ouch
noses... ouch
lips... ouch
skin... ouch
and toys.
We encourage him to go for the toys the most! We are however very excited that he is discovering and learning all the time! Here he is grabbing Dave's hair. So sweet!
This is just too funny... this hat was on a little duck and we put it on Chaz with his sailor outfit on!
Chaz in his rock 'n roll pj's! So cute!
Mom, Grandma and me... 3 generations!
Chaz started eating solids. I am making them with thanks to my friends who have done this before me. The book Super Baby Food was loaned to me and has been a huge help as well and I LOVE www.weelicious.com It has some really great recipes... but not just for baby food... check it out!
Chaz loves his butternut squash, green peas, applesauce (this is the only thing I buy for him at the store and yes, it is sugar free) and his FAV is sweet potatoes! I just cook it all and puree it in the Magic Bullet! (yes, the one on TV!)
To make trips out easier, we do have some yummy gerber baby food for on the go!
Grandma got Chaz a little duckie blow up bath tub. He loved it and we still use it at home now!
Chaz found his toes! and LOVES to play with them!
Mom's birthday was on August 4th and we had a huge party for her. Mom insisted that she wanted this party to be a reception for her friends to meet Chaz. There were about 65 people there who have watched me grow up and have been such blessings to us over the years. They lavished mom and Chaz with gifts and we had so much fun! Thank you Rhonda and Jay and the kids for opening your home (again) to all of us. We had so much fun and can't wait to see you all again soon! (oh, and thank you Lauren for cutting class to be at the party, now don't ever do that again! hee hee!)
Dave, Chaz and I gave my mom this adorable frame for her birthday... everyone at the party signed it for her and we put a great pic of her and Chaz in it. So cute!
Mandy, my BFF, her mom and her oldest daughter Natalie came in from College Station for the party. They got to meet Chaz for the first time... it was a very special moment.
MAN! I miss living in Texas!
YUMO!
Our delicious raspberry filled RJ Goodies cake celebrating Mom's b-day and Chaz's trip to Texas! YUM! THANK YOU RHONDA!!!!
Donna and her daughter Samantha. Sam's Baby Hank is still in the oven! Can't wait to meet him! Sam and I grew up together. Our mom's have been friends forever!
Sweet friends from high school and their adorable kiddos...
Misty with Kaleigh and Sondra with Warren.
There were so many pics of us with our friends... too many to post. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to attend. We loved seeing you, getting to introduce you to Chaz and celebrating Mom's birthday with you! Hope to see you again soon!
