There is nothing better than getting in a freshly made bed! I always sleep better when the sheets are fresh and clean and smell like the dryer! MMmmm! I love it... the only thing that could have made this night better would be that I hadn't forgotten that I had stripped my bed and needed to wash and dry my sheets at 10:00pm when I was dragging myself to bed! Have you ever done that?.. walked into your room when you are just pooped and just wanted to fall into bed only to see that your bed has no sheets, no blanket, no nothing because you were so "on a roll" with house work this morning.. only you must have fallen off that "roll" b/c right now you are starring at an unmade bed??? Ugh! That's ok, really it is... I had a great time catching up on the Duggar's and Ace of Cakes episodes waiting for the sheets to wash and dry...
I know what you're thinking... I could have read, done more housework, cleaned the dishes from dinner... Nope! I sat on the couch with Maci (that's right, she is allowed on the couch when Dave's gone, Shhhh!) ate a cupcake and didn't lift a finger! Ha!
Oh well, it is still SO AWESOME to crawl into a clean, crisp, fresh smelling bed as tired as I am!
P.s. It would have been even better to have someone else make my bed. Note to self, get a maid service one day.
P.s.s. It would have been even BETTER to not have to go to bed alone again tonight. I always stay up so late when Dave is gone b/c I have a hard time falling to sleep.. I guess it is another night of Father of the Bride on my laptop! (that's right, more T.V.!)

I LOVE a fresh, clean bed too! Only a few more nights without Dave...yeah!
it really IS the best thing ever and you won't believe... our sheets were wet in the dryer when lance and i went to bed last night... we didn't stay up... just threw on a different set and went to bed!
not wet in the dryer... wet in the washer... ugh, i need more sleep! :)
