Lydia has been asking me to post pics of Chaz's nursery since, um, March??! Well, here they are! I love the nursery... it is probably my favorite room to be in. It is so peaceful and cozy and I guess b/c we rock our sweet baby to sleep there and read him books and sing and watch him sleep there, it gives me a calm, easy feeling.
Favorite things in Chaz's nursery:
crib... so pretty!
the glider... great invention! (it reminds me of Bible Studies at Esther's, awe!)
the alphabet tapestry from Bahrain (sp?... too tired to look it up) that Dave brought Chaz home from deployment
toy elephant that Grandpa made when I was a kid and gave to Chaz (he got a turtle too for Christmas)
Chaz's books... he LOVES books! and we have quite a collection from over the years!
cd player... peaceful music helps put him to sleep, just like I used to play for my campers
Sleep Sheep... sounds of waves play as he nods off to sleep
It's funny b/c we actually put ourselves to sleep too now when we rock Chaz to sleep!
Hand made Elephant from Grandpa McManus. He wants to be called "Old Grandpa" and will ONLY refer to Chaz as Charlie! So funny!

(b/c the hospital lost his first prints and I didn't realize we didn't have them until he was 6 weeks old! ugh!)

Sweet little crib and helicopter bedding... a must have for my helicopter pilot husband... there was NO negotiating the boy bedding!
One more thing I love that is actually in both our rooms... the video monitor... I LOVE being able to see and hear him sleeping. It's like having a little piece of his nursery in my own room, awe!!

such a cute room alicia!!! i love it! the glider reminded me of esther too! and the video monitor is such a must! now that i have kids in two rooms, mine is in the living room so that i can hear everybody... so no pic, just sound! :)

What a precious nursery - Oh, how fun to have boys! Now I have a place to picture you (in the "Esther" glider) :) Love you friend - we MUST get together the next time you're in Texas.
looks great and oh so comfy! I am wishing we had carpet in bobby's room...it just seems a little cold. Thanks for posting! I love it!
