For Daddy

9 month updates:

21 lbs

no teeth

says: Mama, Dada, bubububu, dudududu, lot of sweet babble

laughs a lot

cries only when he is really tired, or sees the bottle getting made and it is not in his mouth yet!

learned:

how to take the ball from Maci

how to give the ball back to Maci

how to clap when she runs off with the ball (this is adorable!)

wave with his fingers

how to push the laundry basket and "walk" behind it (this really freaked me out when I saw him do this today!)

to find the face of the characters in his books, for example, when we read Brown Bear, he scratches or pats the face of each animal... I know, smart, right??!!

Favorite things to do:

crawl after Maci or Maci's toys

watch pictures of himself on the laptop screen saver

play with the monitor on his bed (and cries if I pick him up out of the bed while he is playing with it!)

Still loves to be rocked to sleep (my favorite time of the day) and get tickled!!

I can't believe he is already 9 months old... it seems like just yesterday that I brought him home and didn't know if I would be able to do this "Mommy Thing." Now, I am so happy to have a happy little playful guy that makes me laugh all day long. He is just such a blessing to me!! I cannot get enough of him!
