Long Time

Hey Friends,

I know, I know. It has been a LONG TIME since I have updated my blog. I hate writing without posting pictures, but we recently got a new computer and I haven't quite figured out how to get my old pics from the old computer to my new computer so I can use them on the blog...anyway, all that to say that sorry its been so long!

Dave and I are doing well. We have had a very busy summer. Our moms and my grandma came to visit. Mike even flew in to hang out with us recently, and Matt, Jennifer and Charles were here for Father's Day. We have loved having family over and look forward to seeing more of you.

I am in Houston now and I am heading to the annual Mary Kay Seminar in Dallas. I am soooo excited because it is my first time to go. I have my camera ready, so I will be posting pics when I get home. I can't wait to get there!

Dave and I are going to NYC next month to celebrate our third anniversary (which was in May.) We actually joined AAA (thanks for the advice Matt and Jennifer!) and got a great deal on our trip. We are going to attend a performance of The Lion King and we will be having dinner at Tavern on the Green. Yes, I have already done some serious shopping for this trip...thanks to mom and grandma!!! We are so excited and looking forward to some time together away from work and everyday responsibilities! I just wish we could take Maci Girl!

Before I sign off, a couple of things...and yes these are totally random!

1.) You HAVE to go see Mamma Mia. Take your mom and your girlfriends and take hankies to wipe your tears from laughing AND crying (there is a really sweet mom/daughter scene!) Go see it and then tell me what you thought! I loved it!!!

2.) I have been working on a playlist to post on my blog. I am having a hard time figuring out how to post it on my blog. I am following the directions, but its not working...sooo if you can offer some advice to help me out, please do!
