White Christmas 2010

We had two Christmas celebrations this year! We are so blessed! The first was spend in Va Beach with The Kiser Klan! Matt and Jennifer and their two little ones Charles and AnnaLee hosted. Ryan and Jane came in from DC and Helene (Dave, Matt and Jane's Mom) came in from Bedford! It was such a blessing to have everyone together for the first time in a couple of years for Christmas AND God blessed us with a WHITE CHRISTMAS! Oh what a sight for Florida eyes! My favorite part was watching Chaz watch in amazement at the sight of snow! He loved it and DID NOT want come in from playing as you will see in the pics below! I also loved watching my precious dog Maci romp about! She loved it!! I have never seen her run faster than in the snow!
Besides the snow, we had GREAT food, played FUN games and enjoyed FABULOUS company! What a wonderful Christmas!

Waaaiiiting! My two little snow angels seeing snow for the first time and waiting patiently to get out in it!

Chaz had just done a side of the face plant, see the snow plastered to the side of his head?

Third and FINAL attempt at a pic of the little ones together in the snow! Ha!
"A" for effort Jane, Matt, and Ryan!

Chaz and AnnaLee playing in the snow... can I say she was "tickled pink?!"

Dave holding AnnaLee as she gets used to the idea! What a little doll!

What a sweet face!

Chaz raking the snow! After this picture was taken I looked at his face a little closer and saw that his cheeks were welting up from the cold. So, I thought we could go in for a little break to get warm...
BIG MISTAKE!

Chaz was so upset... no, DEVASTATED, to have to come in from the snow! Can you tell?

NOT a happy camper!

Later on that day we had to go home before the snow melted and became ice on the roads, so much to my dismay, we left the beautiful white glory and headed south for home. After much prayer and driving literally 10 mph at times, we made it home! And this is what the good part of that drive looked like... gorgeous!

We saw some amazing landscapes, even saw some palm trees covered in snow!

Look for Part Two of Christmas 2010 coming soon!

Chaz's face reminds me of every time I bring Bobby in from the outdoors! Sweet boys love being outside - snow or not!
