Bringing Up Boys!

This is hilarious!
Dave and I had the purest reaction to this great gift from my mom!
Hee Hee!

Bringing Up Boys by Dr. James Dobson is proving to be sooooo good for me! I am learning so much about boys and all my fears are beginning to melt away, sort of... I am such a girlie girl, but with the guidance of the Lord, Dave, this book, and Chaz himself, I know I can raise a great boy to be a great man!
Dave and I have also been reading The Love Dare (after watching the movie Fire Proof). We know that a marriage is redefined after having children, so we are solidifying our team to be our best for each other and for Chaz!
Another book we are reading is The Power of a Praying Parent. The issues covered in this book are exactly the issues that I had fears and reservations about... it helps us to give it all over to the Lord and really trust HIM with our sweet baby's life (his WHOLE life).
I highly recommend all three of these books! They are so refreshing, inspirational and informative! I am really enjoying them and hope you do too... Great for a gift for another or for yourself!

so glad that both of you are being proactive in your marriage and parenting. that makes all the difference! you are a great mom and the Lord will continue to guide you through every one of chaz's stages! i read a book that ashley recommended and LOVED it. A Mother's Heart by Jean Fleming has been my favorite parenting book to date!
