Mom and me as the labor process begins.
Late Sunday night March 8, 2009
Ariana giving me a thumbs up for being so brave!
My favorite pic of Dave and me, my focal point.
An amazing, surreal, and profound moment for me. Thank you Jesus for a beautiful baby boy. I can't wait to see what you have in store for him!
Happy Birthday Chaz! Monday afternoon March 9, 2009 12:26 pm
Oh my, what a beautiful boy, I am so in love!!!
Chaz's first smile to Grandma just minutes after being born!
Already time to start the training... here Chaz is at his happiest moment, wearing his first Aggie gear!
A sweet mom and me moment, Chaz and I can stare at each other for hours.
Grandma and Mimi with Chaz and me, they are sooo proud!
He sleeps like a pro, so content to just stay in Mommy's arms.
Chaz in his coming home outfit... it was mine 29 years ago, what an ANGEL!
Charels Wagner Kiser IV arrived Monday March 9, 2009 at 12:26 pm. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 8.5 oz. and measured 19 inches long.
He interrupted Desperate Housewives with a splash on Sunday night at 9:56 pm when my water broke. Grandma Cole, and gal pal, Ariana rushed into action! After an hour drive to the Base Hospital, and with contractions getting stronger with every passing moment, we were admitted and began the 13 hour process. Things went by so quickly and right as I started to deliver, Dave called the delivery room! He listened on speaker phone from an ocean away and got to hear me announce to him, "IT'S CHAZ, ITS A BOY... YOU HAVE A SON!" (and that part only took 30 minutes!)
Grandma Cole got to cut the cord and says that every little thing he does reminds her of me when I was born. What a special time b/t mom and me! I am so glad she was there!
Chaz is so beautiful and has already changed and blessed our world in so many ways. He is a great sleeper, great eater and he coos and smiles all the time! I never knew I would be so in love with him!
We have had a long week... Chaz had to have his tongue clipped because he was tongue tied and has also had to be monitored because he was 3 weeks early. We are beating jaundice and he is being such a good sport! We did have to run out to buy premie clothes b/c he is so tiny his newborn clothes swallow him!
We just arrived home last night (Thursday) around 10pm and we have already been back to the hospital for a check up. We are so exhausted, but so excited about this new chapter in our lives! God is soooo good!
Enjoy the pics and pray for Daddy's safe and speedy return!
A special thank you to all my friends and family here in Jax that helped to make this process easier, decorating the house for our homecoming, delivering meals, praying and being there through each long hour of labor (Mom and Ariana!) You are all true friends and I can't wait for Chaz to know each of you!
More pics to come, I promise! My PC name is not Truman for nothin'!
